My "Baubles" are colorful, lightweight, and festive. Made from gorgeous, luminous beads I import from Italy.
I combine colors freely to help brighten your face and enliven your look. Bead sizes will vary as will colors. No two are quite the same!Available in different lengths and sizes. Combine them as you wish.Baubles come on stainless steel wire with my signature tutrle charm at the neck.

"Celestial" combines real pearls strung with semiprecious stone crescent moons and stars, for an understated but a definitely dressy and feminine look. A very handsome Italian jewelry salesman in Venice once told me that "pearls are so lovely because only women can wear them."I make "Celestial" in a long choker length so it nicely fills in the collar of a v-neck top.

I call this necklace Happiness becuase that's how the colors make me feel. It's playful, a little bit tribal, and very easy going.Wear it to make a bold statement and add a pop of color to a black outfit .

This is one of my signature designs.I always wear Flexibility" with one of my own handmade sterllng chains to add a bit of brightness. The color palette in these recycled glass beads is so subtle and beautifully mixed, I find it goes with literally everything.I make "Flexibility " in a 26", medium length so it nicely fills in the collar of a v-neck top.

My Keshi necklace is the real deal. These are known as baroque pearls and can be either fresh or salt water. They have no center nudleus and are made entirely of nacre, the material that gives pearls their lustre. As such the are famously irridescent.I make these with simple shapes for the back of the neck with the more organic shapes in the front. Some call them "cornflakes". I call them gorgeous.

My life certers around being creative. I am not happy or fulfilled unless I am creating something beautiful. After opening SevenArts, a cooperative crafts shop in Ellsworthr Maine where I made and sold silver bracelets, earrings, and so on, under the name of Sorrento Silver. In 2010, I moved to Brunswick tobe nearer my family. and retired from making silver jewelry. I donated my silversmithing studio, lock, stock, and barrel to the Maine College of Art.In the interim, I have been doing residential designs, raising from whole houses to kitchens, extensions, gardens, and additions. I love the whole building process and especially working with tradespeople, . . . but all construction has its stressful moments and I've decided to leave those headaches behind and have retired from that world.I set out to create Turtle Studio as a way to create a simpler and more relaxed creative life.
